CQUniversity（セントラルクイーンズランド大学）は1967年にクイーンズランド工科専門学校として設立され、1992年に大学として認可された公立大学である。本部はクイーンズランド州ロックハンプトンに置かれているが、シドニー、メルボルン、ブリスベン、パース、アデレードなど全国20以上のキャンパスとスタディセンターを展開するオーストラリア最大級の分散型大学である。THE世界大学ランキング2024年版では世界501-600位に位置している。最大の特徴はオーストラリアで最も包括的な職業統合学習（Work Integrated Learning）プログラムを提供している点で、多くの学位に産業界での実習が組み込まれている。看護学、工学、教育学の分野で特に評判が高く、卒業生の就職率はオーストラリア全大学の中でもトップクラスである。Good Universities Guideでは卒業生の初任給とフルタイム就職率で最高評価を獲得している。留学生向けの奨学金としてInternational Student Scholarshipがあり、授業料の25%が免除される。ロックハンプトンはグレートバリアリーフへの玄関口にあたる地方都市で、生活費はシドニーやメルボルンと比較して大幅に安い。都市部より地方で実践的な教育を受けたい人、卒業後すぐに就職につなげたい人に適した大学である。
